Why ?

On July 23, 2020, the National Security Council decided that catering establishments should record the presence of their guests. The COVID-19 pandemic is raging in full force, and this is just one of the measures taken to better protect you, your family, friends and others.

By completing this form, you agree to the data processing under Article 6, c of the GDPR and the relevant Ministerial Decree.

It is important that you fill in this form correctly, because you are helping to ensure a Corona-free society.

What happens to your data?

We understand that you are concerned with the processing of your personal data.

We process the data on behalf of the Flemish Agency for Care and Health.

We keep your data for a period of 14 days, after which it will be irrevocably destroyed.

Only in case of an established contamination, your data will be further communicated to the competent government departments.

Under no circumstances will we use your data for marketing or other purposes than tracing in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On what basis do we process your data?

You've probably heard about the 'GDPR': the 'General Data Protection Regulation'. That is a strict European regulation that ensures that your privacy is better protected. We process your data, directly on behalf of the government, and in line with the decision of the National Security Council, on the basis of Article 6, c ("necessary processing to comply with a legal obligation on the controller") and article 3, 10 ° Ministerial Decree of 24 July 2020 amending the Ministerial Decree of 30 June 2020 concerning urgent measures to limit the spread of the corona virus COVID-19.
